Inside or in the gardens, two plans
Inside the inn, a reception of 200 or more needs a booth that keeps the line short: four hours, near the bar or the dance floor, not tucked in a hallway. In the gardens, the booth needs cover, level ground and power, so we usually keep it for the reception and suggest instant cameras on the garden tables for the outdoor hour.
We worked a reception here in July 2026. We do not have photos from that night to share, so the picture at the top is the booth itself.
The booths we'd bring to the Pillar and Post
One booth for the reception, and something small for the garden tables.
Magic Mirror, from $800
It moves 100+ guests an hour and looks at home in a heritage room. For a full house, four hours ($1,000) keeps the line from forming.
Instax Wide EVO, from $80
An instant camera for the garden tables: guests shoot, print a wide photo on the spot, and no second booth is needed outside.
Wedding Bundle, $1,100
A four-hour Magic Mirror, the Audio Guest Book, five screen-free table cameras and Pic Booth One, the QR code for guests.
DSLR booth, from $750
If the reception is in a smaller room at the inn, the open-air DSLR booth takes less floor and prints the same quality.

Pillar and Post photo booth questions
Has Pic Booth worked at the Pillar and Post?
Yes. We worked a wedding reception there in July 2026. We are based in St. Catharines, inside half an hour away, and travel is included.
Which photo booth suits a 250-guest Pillar and Post wedding?
The Magic Mirror for four hours. It moves 100+ guests an hour, so a full room gets through without a long line. Four hours is $1,000, or $1,100 in the Wedding Bundle.
Can the booth go in the Gardens at Pillar and Post?
Yes, with cover, level ground and power within reach, which we confirm with the venue first. Often the better plan is the booth for the reception and instant cameras in the gardens.
How much is a photo booth at the Pillar and Post?
From $750 for two hours with the DSLR booth, or $800 with the Magic Mirror. The Wedding Bundle is $1,100. Travel to Niagara-on-the-Lake is included.
Does the Pillar and Post need a certificate of insurance?
Hotels usually ask for one, and we send a certificate naming the venue at no charge, with a load-in plan. See our page for venues.
